I can’t believe this school year is already coming to an end. I remember the beginning of the year; the fear of letting my child go. I was so anxious to see my 5-year-old start her first year of school. Now with only 14 days left of Kindergarten, the anxious feelings have turned into excitement and my daughter is almost a first grader.
Armed Forces day is tomorrow Saturday, May 19th and Memorial day is coming up in a couple of weeks. I wanted to put together a small collection of free patterns that were inspired by armed forces in case anyone wanted to work some up in honor of our hardworking troops. You can find links to these amazing patterns below. Don’t forgot to thank each of the designers for sharing their hard work and talents with us for FREE!
I have a beautiful friend who is growing a sweet little baby girl right now as we speak. A while ago she requested an adorable newsboy cap inspired hat along with some matching booties. I wrote the pattern down while I worked up the cap so that I could share them with you all for free. Armed Forces day is coming up this Saturday, so it is perfect timing to share this camo cap with you all.
My daughter has joined Girl Scouts and is in her first year of Daises. We just finished with our pre-sales for Girl Scout cookies- YUM! I wanted to crochet something to keep her little head warm while we traveled down our street to ask our neighbors if they’d like to order cookies. This hat kept her little ears warm AND added to her Girl Scout cuteness! This pattern is fairly easy to follow and works up in no time.
